Skiing
The ski resort of Le Corbier is situated in the Maurienne area of the Savoie
department in the Northern Alps region and is part of the Les Sybelles ski domain.
The lift served area extends from 1550 metres to the summit of Mont Corbier at 2265 metres.
The Les Sybelles area extends up to 2600 metres, giving over 1000 metre of vertical drop, with 310 km of
lift served runs. Le Corbier has the highest pastureland in France (to the top of the resort)
and because the skiing is mostly on grass, there does not have to be much cover of snow to provide
safe skiing.
There are also 28 km of cross country trails located between 1450 and 1550 meters and a snowpark.
